President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, has addressed the President’s slip while boarding a parade vehicle during the June 12 Democracy Day celebration in Abuja.

In a statement posted on his X handle on Wednesday, Olusegun assured the public, stating, “Mr. President missed his step while climbing into the truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration and tripped.

It was a mild misstep. He immediately went on with the ceremonial rounds. No issues.”

This statement came after videos circulated showing President Tinubu momentarily losing his footing as he stepped into the vehicle. Despite the incident, the President swiftly regained his balance and continued with the proceedings without further issues.

The event at Eagles Square was a significant part of the nationwide celebrations marking Nigeria’s annual Democracy Day.
