kidnappers have abducted the Managing Director of Fouani Company, the representative of LG and Hisense in Nigeria, along with three Lebanese nationals while they were traveling by boat in Lagos.
The abduction occurred around the Falomo Bridge as the victims were making their way from Apapa to Victoria Island. The identities of the kidnapped individuals have not yet been confirmed.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident.
“Yes, it is true. We got the report and we are looking into it. Please, I’m not obliged to state more than that,” Hundeyin told journalists.
Despite the confirmation, the Police PRO refrained from disclosing further details about the identities of the abducted persons or the specifics of the incident.
When pressed for more information, Hundeyin reiterated, “I’m not obliged to state the names, when, where and how it happened for now but we are looking into it.”
This incident has raised concerns about the security of business executives and expatriates in Lagos, a city known for its bustling economic activities but also facing challenges related to crime and kidnapping.
