Two-time UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea have entered the race to sign Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman, joining Manchester United and Bayern Munich in pursuit of the talented winger.

As the Blues gear up for the next season, they have already made significant moves in the transfer market.

Chelsea secured Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer from Fulham and agreed deals with Aston Villa’s Omari Kellyman, Barcelona’s Marc Guiu, and Palmeiras’ Estêvão Willian, signaling a new era under head coach Enzo Maresca.

However, the club is still on the lookout for attacking reinforcements.

They have been linked with several forwards including Jhon Duran, Crysencio Summerville, Sam Omorodion, and Michael Olise. Notably, Olise has already agreed terms with Bayern Munich.

Interest in Lookman

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea is keen on acquiring Lookman’s services and is prepared to offer up to €60 million for the Nigerian star.

Lookman, who has also drawn interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich, is highly sought after in the current transfer market.

Lookman’s Stellar Season at Atalanta

Meanwhile, Lookman has been named Atalanta’s Player of the Season following an impressive campaign.

The Nigerian winger played a crucial role in Atalanta’s success, helping the Bergamo-based side to qualify for two finals on both the continental and domestic scenes.

Lookman was instrumental in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League triumph, where they defeated Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final.

His outstanding performances throughout the season earned him the prestigious Player of the Season award at the club.

The competition for Lookman’s signature is expected to be fierce, with top European clubs vying to secure the services of the 26-year-old forward.
