President Bola Tinubu has pledged that under his leadership, Nigeria will not descend into an era marked by blood, sorrow, tears, and fear.

He assured Nigerians that those responsible for acts of violence will face the full force of the law and will not evade justice.

This declaration comes in response to the recent terrorist bomb attacks in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, which resulted in the loss of lives and left several citizens injured.

In a statement issued by his spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu condemned the attacks and described them as desperate acts of terror.

The statement read:

“President Bola Tinubu strongly condemns the bomb attacks, which resulted in the loss of precious lives and the maiming of other citizens in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

President Tinubu describes the attacks as desperate acts of terror and a clear manifestation of the pressure mounted against terrorists and the success achieved in degrading their capacity to launch offensives.”

The President emphasized that these attacks are isolated incidents and reassured citizens that his administration is taking necessary measures to secure the nation.

“The President declares that the purveyors of wanton violence shall have a certain encounter with justice, and that these cowardly attacks are only but isolated episodes as his government will not allow the nation to slither into an era of fear, tears, sorrow, and blood.”

He further added, “The President states that his administration is taking necessary measures to secure citizens, emphasizing that efforts will be redoubled to ensure that those who trouble the nation, dispatching precious lives, and disrupting law and order are completely removed.”

President Tinubu expressed his condolences to the victims of the attacks, the families of the deceased, and the people of Borno State.

He assured them that his government is committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice and restoring peace in the affected areas.

The recent bombings in Gwoza have raised concerns about the resurgence of terrorist activities in the region.

However, President Tinubu’s strong stance against violence and his commitment to justice provide a sense of hope and reassurance to the nation.

As Nigeria continues to face security challenges, the President’s pledge to protect citizens and maintain law and order is seen as a crucial step towards achieving lasting peace and stability in the country.
