In response to the ongoing strike declared by the organised labour, Ibom Air, one of Nigeria’s domestic carriers, has announced the suspension of its flight operations.
Expressing regret over the disruption to flight services, the airline released a statement, stating, “Ibom Air regrets to inform our esteemed passengers that, due to the ongoing nationwide labor strike, we are unable to dispatch any of our scheduled flights to your various destinations.”
Highlighting the priority placed on safety, the statement emphasized, “The safety and well-being of our passengers and staff remain our highest priority.
Consequently, our flight operations have been suspended until further notice.
We regret the inconvenience we know this situation has caused and sincerely apologize.”
Assuring passengers of their commitment to resume normal operations once the strike is called off, the airline urged travelers to stay updated through their website, social media channels, or by contacting the customer service team.
