Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the dynamic duo behind Napoli’s historic Scudetto win, are generating significant transfer buzz as both players could be on the move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer.
Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker, and Kvaratskhelia were instrumental in securing Napoli’s first league title in 33 years during the 2022-2023 season.
However, their partnership was hampered by injuries and international commitments, limiting their time on the pitch together.
Despite signing a contract extension until June 30, 2026, Napoli has reportedly put the 25-year-old Osimhen up for sale. His contract includes a hefty €130 million release clause, but sources indicate that the club may consider lowering this amount given the reluctance of potential suitors to meet the full fee.
According to Corriere dello Sport, PSG is leading the race for Osimhen’s signature, especially following the departure of star player Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid.
The French club is said to be preparing an offer of €110 million for Osimhen, while also eyeing Kvaratskhelia with a proposed €90 million bid.
Kvaratskhelia is reportedly open to a move to PSG, but Osimhen has expressed a strong preference for joining a Premier League club after his time at Napoli.
This raises the question of whether Napoli will be willing to part with both of their standout players in the current transfer window and whether Osimhen will ultimately choose PSG.
